Welcome to the Demolition Permit Application Process
Important: Your application will auto-save as a draft after 30 minutes of inactivity. You can find your draft in your MyCity profile under "In-Progress Applications". Drafts are kept for a limited time, so we encourage you to submit your application promptly.

Application Types
The following demolition permit types are available and apply to both Heritage and Non-Heritage buildings:
- Decommission (removal of a suite)
- Demolition
- Move
Important Information
- Upon permit approval and prior to demolition, the applicant MUST contact the Operations Utilities Coordinator at 250-550-3620 to arrange for water shut-off and meter removal.
- When the demolition is complete, the applicant must book a FINAL INSPECTION by calling 250-550-3592. The FINAL INSPECTION must be approved before any changes are reflected in Utility Billing and before the Security Deposit is returned.
