Application Conditions

A non-refundable $150 application fee is required and must be paid online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express). A 2.4% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
Application Types
You may apply for the following:
- New retaining wall construction
- Repair, structural upgrades or replacement of an existing retaining wall
Important Information
- Permits are required for retaining wall structures 1.2 m (3.94') or greater in height, where there may be substantial surcharge above the wall, or for proposed work within a sensitive land area.
- A permit is required for new driveway access, or for the enlargement or relocation of an existing driveway. Additional reviews may be required to ensure the proposal meets City of Vernon bylaws.
