Cultural, Recreational, and Entertainment Services include, but are not limited to, businesses such as community halls, social and private clubs, art galleries, auditoriums, cinemas, concert venues, creative and performing artists, personal trainers, athletic and fitness clubs, swimming pools, shooting ranges, bowling alleys, amusement arcades, racquet clubs, golf courses, and stables. This category also covers special events, including public shows, cultural performances, awareness walks, and exhibitions, as well as trade shows, vendor markets, casinos, bingo halls, and gaming centers.

Depending on the nature of your business, you may be required to provide the following information for your business licence application:

• Floor Area: Provide the total square footage (m²) of your business location.
• Special Event: If you're applying for a Special Event, you will need to provide the number of days the event will take place.
• Casino: If you are applying for a Casino, you will need to provide your Provincial Gaming Licence Number.
• Serving Liquor: If you will be Serving Liquor, you will need to submit a copy of your Liquor Licence issued by the Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch.
• Non-Profit Organization: If your business is a Registered Non-Profit Organization, a copy of your Societies Act Certificate of Incorporation is required.

Note: There will be a non-refundable application fee (in addition to the Licence fee as calculated). The non-refundable application fee will be collected during the licence application process, with the remaining amount due online after you receive an approval email. Licence fees are waived for Non-Profit Organizations.
